MUZICAD
MUZICAD is a KA210 YOU Erasmus+ project developing a practical handbook of music-based, play-oriented games to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Designed for teachers, parents, and professionals, it provides adaptable activities that strengthen communication, social-emotional development, motor skills, and focus through inclusive, easy-to-apply methods created by European partner organizations.

Purpose and Scope
The MUZICAD Handbook is a comprehensive training resource developed for teachers, parents, and professionals working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The project aims to promote music-led adapted learning through play-based games that support the educational, social, and emotional development of children with ASD.
The handbook integrates elements of music therapy, education, physical activity, and social inclusion, offering innovative, inclusive, and enjoyable learning approaches.
Target Groups
The handbook is designed for:

Concept and Approach
The handbook introduces music-based games structured into three main categories:

Physical Games
Improve rhythm, balance, coordination, and teamwork
(e.g. We Will Rock You, Dancers on the Shrinking Stage) -
Social & Emotional Games
Develop communication, empathy, and social interaction
(e.g. Greeting Circle, Rainstorm, Conductor Game) -
Multi-Skill Games
Strengthen auditory memory, focus, and cognitive development
(e.g. Sound Matching, Paper Dance, Rhythm Wave)
Each activity includes clear instructions, required materials, adaptations, and expected benefits, supported by video links for practical implementation.
